We had the pleasure of having this tour in the last week and can only say positive things about the organisation provided by the agency. The tour is well organised and gives you plenty of days to acclimatise with the high altitude in Peru. I would strongly recommend this option if you’re looking for a holiday week to see the best of this incredible country!
We went from USA to Cusco to experience Machupichu as a family. We have communicated with Tania of Peru Travel about three months before. From the very beginning she was very prompt to answer all our questions and giving valuable suggestions. She customized our private trip as per our choices of hotels and each day’s schedule. When we were in Cusco and Machupichu everything went as per plan and schedule. We didn’t need to worry about any logistics so we just enjoyed the food, culture, history and heritage of sacred valley and Machupichu. For our entire stay of four days Jaime David was our guide and he was very humble, professional and has enormous knowledge of the heritage and history of the Inkas. He also has a great knowledge of local geology, flora and fauna.
Finally, thanks to Tania and her entire team to make this trip a memorable one for my family. They are very friendly and lively people. The cost was very reasonable and much cheaper than booking through any USA based travel agent. If I travel to Peru in future, I know whom to contact.

Tania and the whole team are incredible. Everything was arranged in advance, and tours were very well described and planned with care. Even when we had a situation with a specific tour in Huayna Picchu they also handled it very well and helped a lot.

It was awesome working with Machu Picchu Peru travel. We had only one day in Lima and wanted to do a desert tour. Tania arranged it for us with a very short notice and took care of everything from picking up from the airport to dropping us back to the airport. It was very easy working with her and had a wonderful time in Huacachina. Renan was our guide/driver and took great care of us during the trip.
I booked this tour after reading some excellent reviews, and it did not disappoint! We booked a private day tour for four people and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Tania was so organised and communicated every step of the way. She also dropped some local gifts off for us at our hotel, a really lovely touch. Everything ran really smoothly on the day, our driver Celestino was on time and our tour guide Jamie was waiting for us after we got off the train. Jamie was an amazing tour guide as well as a fantastic photographer and made sure we got some awesome photos to remember the experience. Overall it was a fantastic experience which we’ll all remember forever, made even better for not having to worry about logistics and tickets which were all sorted for us. Thanks so much to Tania and the team for an unforgettable experience!
Great trip. We loved our guide Willie. He was the best. Highly recommend this tour. Minor problem with the hotel but Tania fixed it immediately.
