DAY 1

Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Paracas National Reserve - Huacachina

4:30 AM: Let’s hit the road!
We grab you from your hotel or Lima’s airport and head to Paracas. It’s about a 3-hour cruise down the Panamericana Sur. Pro tip: bring a neck pillow; the road’s smooth but long.

8:00 AM: Head to Paracas.
We roll into Paracas, meet your guide, and head to the dock.

8:30 PM: Ballestas Islands boat trip (2 hours).
This is wild—think sea lions chilling on rocks, Humboldt penguins waddling, and tons of birds flying everywhere. You’ll also spot the Candelabro, a massive geoglyph carved into the hillside. Nobody knows its deal, which makes it kinda spooky.

11:00 PM: Paracas National Reserve tour. (Only on a private service)
This place is a nature nerd’s dream. Over 200 bird species, crazy desert-meets-ocean views, and a peek into the Paracas people’s past—those elongated skulls are freaky but fascinating.

12:00 PM: Lunch time (on your own). we’ll go to a local winery.

Here, you can taste wines, pisco (a famous Peruvian drink), and some flavored versions like creams and macerated drinks. It’s also a good time to grab some lunch, and you can pick from different dishes that show off Peruvian flavors. Just a tip: bring cash, since costs might vary depending on what you choose.

After lunch, you’ll get some time to relax around the vineyard. This short break gives you a chance to chill out before the next big adventure.

3:00 PM: Huacachina arrival.

A beautiful oasis in the middle of huge sand dunes at 1,312 feet (400 m) above sea level. Huacachina is famous for its amazing scenery.

Then, it’s time for some action! You’ll hop into a dune buggy for a 45-minute ride across the sandy dunes. For an extra thrill, you can try sandboarding down the dunes. It’s easy to learn and a total blast for everyone.

Evening: Back to Ica for the night.
Crash at the hotel. You’ll need the rest after today’s chaos.

DAY 2

Nazca – Flight Over the Lines – Cantalloc Aqueducts – Back to Lima

7:00 AM: Drive to Nazca (2.5 hours).
Early start, but the desert views are worth it. Maybe catch a nap or stare at the endless sand.

9:30 AM: Maria Reiche Aerodrome.
Your guide gives a quick history lesson before you board a small plane for a 30-minute flight over the Nazca Lines. You’ll see stuff like the Whale, Monkey, Hummingbird, Dog, Spider, Condor, Frigate Bird, Parrot, Tree, Hands, and the freshly fixed Lizard. It’s mind-blowing how these are even here.

12:00 PM: Lunch in Nazca (not included).
Grab some local food—maybe try anticuchos if you’re feeling brave.

Optional Add-On:
Check out the Cantalloc Aqueducts or Chauchilla Cemetery (2 hours, $30 extra per person). The aqueducts are ancient engineering genius; the cemetery’s a bit eerie with mummies just sitting there. Your call.

2:00 PM: Head back to Lima.
We roll back, arriving around 9:30 PM. Traffic can be a pain, so times might shift.

This circuit focuses on the agricultural sector and upper areas, providing access to vantage points and mountain hikes.

Route 1-A: Machu Picchu Mountain Route: Allows climbing Machu Picchu Mountain. The total maximum stay for the climb and a short visit to the Inca City afterward is $\mathbf{4}$ hours for the mountain and $\mathbf{1}$ hour for the city. Two time slots are available: 6:00-6:30 a.m. and 8:00-8:30 a.m.
Route 1-B: Upper Terrace Route: A shorter route through the agricultural sector. Max stay: $\mathbf{2}$ hours $\mathbf{30}$ minutes.
Route 1-C: Intipunku Gate Route: Leads to the Sun Gate (Intipunku). The round trip takes about $\mathbf{2}$ hours, followed by a maximum $\mathbf{2}$ -hour stay in the city.
Route 1-D: Puente Inka Route: Leads to the Inca Bridge. The round trip takes about $\mathbf{1}$ hour, followed by a maximum $\mathbf{2}$ -hour stay in the city.

Circuit 2: The Classic Circuit

This circuit includes both the agricultural and urban sectors, covering key areas for a comprehensive view.

Route 2-A: Designed Route & Route 2-B: Lower Terrace Route: Both are comprehensive routes that cover platforms near the Guardian’s House, the Quarry, the Temple of the Sun viewpoint, the Main Temple, Temple of the Three Windows, and the Sacred Rock. Visitors can choose to see the Hall of Mirrors or the Temple of the Condor near the end.
Max Stay: $\mathbf{2}$ hours $\mathbf{30}$ minutes for both 2-A and 2-B.

Circuit 3: The Royal Circuit

This circuit focuses on the lower urban sector and provides access to the Waynapicchu area and its associated hikes.

Route 3-A: Waynapicchu Mountain Route: Allows climbing Waynapicchu Mountain. The total maximum stay for the climb is $\mathbf{3}$ hours, followed by a $\mathbf{1}$ -hour stay in the city. Two time slots are available: 6:00-6:30 a.m. and 9:00-9:30 a.m.

Wow, what great service! I’ve been on many tours and few have had the clarity and communication skills that Tania and her team had.
