In this Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain 5 Days, we explore the City Tour in Cusco, which includes visits to the Qoricancha temple, Sacsayhuaman fortress, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay. We then move on to the Super Sacred Valley, featuring Chinchero, Moray, Salineras, and Ollantaytambo, with a connection to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. Finally, we conclude with a tour of the Rainbow Mountain.
Upon arrival at Cusco airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take some time to rest and have a light lunch. At 1:00 PM, the City Tour in Cusco will begin. Visit the Qoricancha temple, Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q¨enko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. The tour ends around 6:00 PM.
At 7:00 AM, start the full-day tour of the Super Sacred Valley. Visit Chinchero, known for its chapel, agricultural terraces, and textile traditions. Explore Moray’s circular terraces, the salt pools of Salineras de Maras, and the Ollantaytambo archaeological complex. In the evening, take a train to Aguas Calientes.
After breakfast, take a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the archaeological site. If available, you may choose to hike Huayna Picchu. Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
At 4:00 AM, depart from your hotel in Cusco. Travel south for 2 hours to Cusipata. Enjoy breakfast before starting the 1-hour and 40-minute hike to Rainbow Mountain. Admire llamas, alpacas, and snow-capped peaks along the way. Reach the colorful Vinicunca Mountain at around 10:30 AM. Take photos and return to the village for a buffet lunch. Return to Cusco by 4:30 PM.
After breakfast, you will be provided transportation to the airport. End of services.
Upon arrival at Cusco airport, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will receive an aromatic coca tea to encourage height, will have the morning off to rest and also we suggest a light lunch, either at your hotel or at one of the restaurants around it.
1:00 PM we will pick you up to start the City tour in Cusco visiting the temple of the sun Qoricancha , archaeological sites like Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q¨enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay (Baños del Inka).
The tour ends at approximately 18:00.
8:00 AM Pick up from the hotel, this tour is a full-day visit to the impressive Super Sacred Valley that covers the visit of archaeological sites such as:
Chinchero (archaeological zone) to appreciate the chapel and its agricultural terraces and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Chinchero is also famous for its textile traditions, with many local artisans practicing ancient weaving techniques passed down through generations.
The Visitors to Chinchero can explore its historic church, built on the foundations of an Inca temple, and visit local weaving cooperatives where can see the artisans at work and purchase handmade textiles and learn about the process of its textile production.
Moray (agricultural experimentation center) its unique concentric circular terraces that were used for agricultural experimentation by the Incas here we can learn about the fascinating agricultural techniques of the ancient Incas.
Salineras de Maras consists of thousands of small terraced pools used for salt mining, which have been in operation since Inca times, extracted for consumption and marketing)
Ollantaytambo: This archaeological complex was a strategic military, religious and agricultural center where we can find impressive terraces, temples, and ceremonial areas constructed by the Incas
Our tour ends approximately 4:00 pm at the Ollantaytambo train station where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu town where we will spend the night.

AM breakfast at your hotel, 7:00 AM go to board the bus up to “Machu Picchu” (only 25 minutes ride)
8:00 AM Guide´s tour of this historic sanctuary for 3 hours aprox, knowing the temple of the three windows, the solar clock, explore the most important sectors of the archeological site of Machu Picchu, this will depend the entrance ticket or circuit that we got at the moment that you make your booking.
(Optional) if you want to climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu we´ll be avaible to do it after Machu picchu tour on your own during 1hr climb to reach this archaeological center (you need to make the reservation in advance)
At the save time we get out o Machu picchu archeological site and will take the bus back to the town where you will have lunch time and many options to get it.
Aprox 15:00 hrs we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo where the transport will be waiting for you with a sign with your name.
We finish the tour at your hotel
4:00 AM we will start to pick you up from your hotel in Cusco with our transportation,
5:00 AM we will travel on the route to the south part of the city, Once we arrive to Cusipata (2 hours ride).
7:00 AM we will take a delicious breakfast at the restaurant
8:00 AM We will it continue for approximately 45 minutes more by car until the control point where we will begin to hike.

The hike will last us a long of 1 hour and 40 minutes until we reach Vinicunca O Rainbown Mountain 5020 meters about sea level. Along the way we observe a great multitude of llamas and alpacas that we have never seen, who are at the mercy of shepherds dressed in beautiful colorful costumes.
Then passing through beautiful ravines heading to the highest parts, surrounded by snow-capped peaks (Ausangate), almost upon reaching the top we observe the change of the landscape, the Vinicunca colored mountain range located around 5,100 meters (19,900 feet),Arriving at this point between 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Our guide will explain a detail about the orography, ecosystem and color of the mountain, and then take another horizon the most beautiful photos of the 7-color mountain, see the beautiful landscape of the highest point 5200 meters, After that we will take the Return route To village, Where Our Vehicle Will Be Waiting.
Then we will have our delicious buffet lunch Variety Of Novo Andina Food at the same restaurant. then return to the city of Cusco.
