It was one of the best experiences in our lives. We strongly recommend that anyone of moderate fitness and above to try it. It is good to have a pair of hiking shoes to make the experience better. Our guide (Willy) was amazing, he helped us a lot with the trail, he was well prepared and we didn't feel any risk at any moment. Also, he was very explanatory about inkas history and the monuments we saw during the trail. The quality of this experience is very related to the tour guide you will select. This guy was one of the best tour guides we had so far. There is no comparison to the other guides we had. We strongly recommend this experience with this guide.

PS#1: bring a second t-shirt with you to change before you take the traditional photos of Machupicchu.

Ps#2: Willy is a very good photographer, and gave guidance about the best place to take photos.

A true 5 star experience. I just did a 2 day Machu Picchu tour with MPPT and Tania was absolutely incredible to work with. My tour guide Willy was an absolute joy to do the 6 hour trek with and his knowledge of the Andes and Machu Picchu area made the experience even more interesting and valuable.

I’ll get right to the point. For all you over analyzer like me, there is no question. Do whatever you can to get Willy for all your tours. We did a one day tour with him from Cusco to Machu Pichu via Trip Advisor. We spent a lot of time investigating whether to piece part all the connections/logistics and the tour together ourselves from Cusco or hire a company to do it all for us. After much analysis, we determined it was so much better to have a company coordinate the entire thing (and thank goodness we did as there would have been so many issues along the way that would have detracted or ruined our experience). Then after reading so many positive things about Willy, we did decided it was worth a few extra dollars to get him for our guide. He did not disappoint. Machu Picchu was a once in a lifetime trip for us and that’s all because of Willy. It would not have been the same experience without him. He speaks three languages, including Spanish and English. He thinks of every detail, including the perfect pictures to take for you. And even after many tours, he enjoys it so much as if it’s the first tour he’s given which makes it so fun for everyone in the group. He is kind, thoughtful, humble and fun! I also want to add how impressive Tania, the tour operator, was. When I booked, it was noted that the tour operator would come meet with us the day before to prepare for the trip. I thought there was no way that meant an in person visit, I was expecting a phone call at best. But no, she showed up in person on Easter Sunday to spend an hour with us to give us our tickets and go through everything in detail and answer every question we had about the trip. I’ve taken hundreds of tours in my lifetime and never had a tour operator come meet me personally like that. It doesn’t get anymore impressive than that and it also made for an exceptional tour the next day.

Look no further for a tour company or guide for any tour in and around Cusco/Machu Pichu. This dual will make your experience an unforgettable one!

Our Machu Picchu trip was phenomenal! Tania skillfully arranged transportation from our hotel in Cusco to Machu Picchu and made the experience so easy. She even met with us the day before to go over the itinerary. After some train delays, Tania found us an easy alternative, adjusted our travel, and ensured our travel for the rest of the day remained seamless.

And our Machu Picchu guide Jaime was excellent!! He was super knowledgeable and did an awesome job guiding us around the site, as well as staying behind with us long after the tour to ensure we were able to connect with Tania regarding our transportation updates. He’s also a wonderful photographer and made sure we left with plenty of amazing pictures with so many cool shots and poses we would’ve never thought of ourselves.

All in all, the trip was excellent and we would absolutely recommend for your Machu Picchu experience!
