In the afternoon, head to Ollantaytambo train station to catch the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night.
In the morning, after breakfast, meet your guide and take a bus up to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of this historic sanctuary, visiting notable sites such as the Temple of the Three Windows and the Solar Clock. Afterward, you have the option to climb Huayna Picchu mountain (subject to availability and prior reservation). In the afternoon, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, you will be transferred back to Cusco.
