Our program begins with a comprehensive City tour in Cusco, where we’ll explore the rich cultural heritage of this historic city. Highlights include visits to the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman fortress (situated 100 meters higher than Cusco City), Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.

Following our exploration of Cusco, we have a unforgettable full-day tour to the majestic Machu Picchu. We start early in the morning from our hotel in Cusco and spend the entire day immersed in the wonders of this ancient Incan citadel. We return to Cusco late in the evening, concluding our Machu Picchu adventure.

Additionally, you can explore local markets in Aguas Calientes, enjoy traditional Peruvian cuisine at one of the many local restaurants, and take in the vibrant culture of the area. DAY 1

Transfer to Cusco - City Tour

AM: You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at your leisure or simply relax at the hotel.

1:00 PM: Our adventure begins with a fascinating city tour. We’ll first visit Qoricancha, also known as the “gold enclosure,” where homage was paid to the Inca god Inti (Sun). This site showcases remarkable Inca engineering, and visitors were once required to enter fasting, barefooted, and carrying a load on their backs as a sign of humility.

Following Qoricancha, we’ll explore the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuaman, known for its impressive stone constructions. Then, we’ll continue our journey to the archaeological sites of Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, each offering unique insights into the ancient Inca civilization. These sites are located just 15 minutes outside of Cusco town.

6:00 PM: The city tour concludes, and you’ll returne to your hotel in Cusco, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable accommodations 3 stars hotel

DAY 2

Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

4:00 AM: Your transportation will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, approximately a 1 hour and 30-minute ride.

6:10 AM or 6:40 AM: Board the train to Machu Picchu town, where our transfer will be waiting for you. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to the main plaza to meet with our guide and the rest of the group. Together, we’ll proceed to the bus station on a 30-minute journey up to the Machu Picchu archaeological site.

Once at Machu Picchu, our guided tour will start, lasting approximately 3 hours. We’ll explore the most significant places, including the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock (Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, and the Temple of the Three Windows. These sites are interconnected by roads and surrounded by narrow passages cut into the mountainside terraces. The itinerary will be determined by the entrance ticket obtained at the time of your reservation (please ensure availability before booking).

After the tour, we’ll take the bus down to Machu Picchu town, where you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the many available options.

In the afternoon, we’ll board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where transportation will be waiting to bring you back to Cusco.

Approximately 8:00 PM: Arrival back in Cusco. You’ll spend the night at a 3-star hotel in Cusco.

DAY 3

Transfer Out

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel to take you back to the airport, marking the conclusion of our short Cusco and Machu Picchu 3 days Tour

This circuit focuses on the agricultural sector and upper areas, providing access to vantage points and mountain hikes.

Route 1-A: Machu Picchu Mountain Route: Allows climbing Machu Picchu Mountain. The total maximum stay for the climb and a short visit to the Inca City afterward is $\mathbf{4}$ hours for the mountain and $\mathbf{1}$ hour for the city. Two time slots are available: 6:00-6:30 a.m. and 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Exceptional organization and clarity – great value!

Wow, what great service! I’ve been on many tours and few have had the clarity and communication skills that Tania and her team had. From the moment I reached out in interest to the end of the Machu Picchu excursion, Tania was exceptionally clear and helpful, making every step very easy to follow. Planning Machu Picchu on your own is *technically* possible, but it takes a tremendous amount of work to plan with a lot of unknown variables. We booked the private Machu Picchu experience for two, including a private car transfer from Cusco to the train station, the Vistadome train, and a private guided tour of the site. It is certainly a premium-priced experience, but for such a once-in-a-lifetime destination, I would absolutely do it again.

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication with Tania was excellent throughout the booking process. She was always responsive and helpful, and even came to our hotel the day before to hand over all our tickets, explain the itinerary in detail, and answer all our questions. That personal touch was greatly appreciated.

When we arrived at the train station, our guide, Willy, warmly welcomed us and stayed with us throughout the entire visit. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and significance of Machu Picchu. His English was excellent, making every explanation easy to understand. He also knew all the best photo spots and helped us capture some unforgettable memories. To top it off, he recommended a very good restaurant (not included in the price) for after our visit, which was the perfect end to the visit while waiting for the return transfer.

Be prepared for a long day from Cusco—our day started at 5:00 a.m. and we returned around 8:30 p.m. Most of the time is spent on transportation, transfers, and waiting (each way is around 4 hours: car+train+bus), while the visit to Machu Picchu itself lasts around 2.5 hours (we had booked Circuit 1, which offers the best views although you are not able to enter the village itself (this would be circuit 2). However, every minute is absolutely worth it.

A big thank you to Tania and especially to Willy for making this unforgettable experience so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
