First things first, we’ll hit the road through modern Lima. We’ll hang out in the iconic and swanky Miraflores district—seriously cool! We’ll be able to walk along these beautiful streets and chill out at the Parque del Amor along the coast. Are you ready to go shopping? Because the Larcomar shopping center is right there with stunning ocean views and tons of photo ops. Don’t get cold feet now!
Next, get a grip as we get a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial site dating back to the 4th century. It’s an Inca archaeological site treasured by the Incas. Don’t hold back—learn something about Andean culture! Maybe you’ll get the hang of it.
Then, we’ll visit the Central Reserve Bank Museum, home to a remarkable collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. You’ll find precious ceramics, gold artifacts, and textiles representing Peru’s diverse cultures. Improvise some uplifting experiences! Will you be amazed? Or maybe not—you’ll have to find out.
A highlight of the colonial experience is the San Francisco Monastery, famous for its religious art and the eerie underground catacombs. It’s kinda spooky but in a good way—it might just help you blow off some steam!
Finally, we’ll wrap it up at Lima’s Historic Center, where over fifty colonial monuments await. Highlights include the Plaza Mayor, Plaza San Martín, and grand buildings like the Government Palace, Municipal Palace, and the majestic Cathedral Basilica. Plan your visit to this stunning tourist spot!
Oh, and hold your horses! If you’ve got time, you should also check out El Qosqo o Cusco Imperial. It’s seriously amazing.

There, we can take a break to enjoy the seaside views along the boardwalk and snap some great photos.
Next, we’ll go to see Huaca Pucllana, an old ceremonial and archaeological site built in the 4th century AD. It’s a sacred place that the Incas used to honor their gods.

(Note: Entry to the museum is optional because sometimes traffic, protests, or other events can cause delays.) The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Then, we’ll explore the San Francisco Monumental Complex, famous for its colonial religious art and underground crypts, known as the Catacombs. This is one of the top attractions from colonial Lima.
Finally, we’ll head to Lima’s Historic Center, where you can see the old “Square Lima” or walled city, featuring over fifty colonial monuments and buildings.
