Huacachina full day tour From Lima

This Huacachina full day tour starts early in the morning by picking you up from your hotel. We’ll head to Balneario de Paracas (33 ft / 10 m) in our tourist bus.

When we get to Paracas, we’ll board a boat to the Ballestas Islands (33 ft / 10 m) to check out the awesome marine animals there, like sea lions and lots of cool birds.

Next, we’ll go to a local winery where you can taste different wines and piscos. You can also choose to have a yummy lunch from the menu if you want. It’s a good idea to bring cash because prices can change.

Later, the group will move to Huacachina (1,312 ft / 400 m) to explore the famous oasis and do some fun stuff in the sand dunes. You can ride on tube boats and try sandboarding, which is super exciting. We’ll also visit Chocolatería Noelia to taste some traditional sweets from the area.

The tour ends with us heading back to Lima in the evening.

At 5:30 am, we leave Lima in a comfy tourist vehicle, heading south to the coastal town of Paracas, which is at 33 feet (10 m) above sea level. The morning light makes the ride even better, with great views as the sun rises.

Around 9:30 am, we arrive in Paracas. We’ll go straight to the docks and get on a boat to the Ballestas Islands, also at 33 feet (10 m). During the boat ride, you’ll see tons of amazing marine life, like sea lions, penguins, and different seabirds that are unique to Peru. This is a great spot to take some cool photos and just enjoy the wildlife.

At 12:30 pm, we’ll go to a local winery. Here, you can taste wines, pisco (a famous Peruvian drink), and some flavored versions like creams and macerated drinks. It’s also a good time to grab some lunch, and you can pick from different dishes that show off Peruvian flavors. Just a tip: bring cash, since costs might vary depending on what you choose.

After lunch, you’ll get some time to relax around the vineyard. This short break gives you a chance to chill out before the next big adventure.

At 3:00 pm, we arrive at Huacachina, a beautiful oasis in the middle of huge sand dunes at 1,312 feet (400 m) above sea level. Huacachina is famous for its amazing scenery. We’ll explore the oasis and visit Chocolatería Noelia, where you can try sweets made with local flavors. It’s a fun way to get a taste of the region’s culture.
