If you have a passion for adventure sports and nature, we have the perfect tour for you called “Cusco Adventure Tourism: Full Day White-Water Rafting in the Urubamba River.” We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. and take you to the “Cusipata River Lodge” base located in the CUSIPATA district, which is approximately a 2-hour journey to the south of Cusco. At the lodge, our professional rafting guides will provide you with all the necessary equipment for the rafting experience.

The rafting tour begins at Chuqui (chuquicahuana), where we will navigate through thrilling class III and III+ rapids. We meet at 8:30 a.m at our office located in the Main Square. Then, our transport will take us to our “Cusipata River Lodge” Cusipata River Camping, travel of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Bathrooms are available and you can leave your luggage in lockers before starting the trip down the river. “Cusipata River Lodge” also has saunas, hot showers, and a comfortable room for the “apres-river”.

Our professional river guides will deliver you of all the appropriate equipment for rafting: helmet, wetsuit, vest, life jacket, paddle and self-bailing rafts. After a comprehensive safety talk, we’ll spend about 2 hours paddling downstream current class III and IV. Then, we’ll head back to Cusipata River Lodge where you might enjoy a relaxing sauna and hot shower, while a barbecue lunch will be prepared for you. We’ll be back in Cusco at around 05:00 p.m.
