Trip Summary
5 days through Lima Cusco Machu Picchu Puno
Day 1: Lima to Cusco
Morning flight to Cusco (1 hour). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel with free time to rest and acclimate. At 1:00 PM, visit Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and nearby archaeological sites, including Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Tour ends at 6:30 PM. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 2: Cusco to Machu Picchu
Morning pickup for a transfer to Ollantaytambo train station (1.5-hour drive). Board a train to Aguas Calientes (2-hour ride). From there, take a short bus ride to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel, exploring key areas. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (on your own), then take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a transfer to Cusco. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 3: Cusco to Puno via the Route of the Sun
Depart at 6:15 AM for a scenic 9-hour bus ride to Puno. Along the way, visit Andahuaylillas (Sistine Chapel of America), Raqchi (Inca temple), and Pukara Museum. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Sicuani and stop at La Raya Pass (14,222 ft / 4,335 m). Arrive in Puno by evening. Overnight stay in Puno.
Day 4: Lake Titicaca Tour
Morning transfer to Lake Titicaca. Visit the Floating Islands of Uros and learn about their unique culture. Continue to Taquile Island for its scenic and cultural richness. Return by boat to Puno and transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Puno.
Day 5: Puno to Juliaca and Lima
Transfer to Juliaca Airport (1-hour drive) for a flight back to Lima (1-hour flight).
End of tour.

- Customized Services: With the private option, you have the flexibility to customize your services according to your preferences. You can book with flexibility, tailoring the experience to your needs.
- During the city tour, we can include a visit to “Manos de la Comunidad” Handicraft, where you can observe alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, guinea pigs, and purchase clothes if desired (optional).
- In Machu Picchu, there’s no need to wait for others to board the bus up to the archaeological site. Our guide will be exclusively for you, and we have the flexibility to return early to Cusco if preferred.

- A minimum of 2 people is required to make the reservation due to hotel room availability (shared or private service).
- If you are a solo traveler, please contact us first to arrange accommodation exclusively for you.

- The package includes the Expedition train (Peru Rail) or Voyager Class Train (Inca Rail).
- Upgrade your experience with the Traditional Vistadome Class train for an additional $70 USD per person round trip (or $40 USD for one way).
- Alternatively, upgrade to the Vistadome Observatory Class Train for an additional $130 USD per person round trip (or $70 USD for one way)
