Inti Raymi is a highly significant cultural event in the Andean region, held annually to honor the Incan sun god, Inti.
10:15 to 10:45 Bus Boarding
Our team will greet you from 10:15am to 10:45am at Plazoleta Santa Teresa (11,152 ft / 3,399 m) for check-in using your passport. Once registered you’ll hop on the Inti Raymi tour bus which takes about 45 minutes to reach Sacsayhuaman the Inca fortress where the ceremony kicks off. Staff will make sure everyone’s sorted before departure.
10:45 Bus Departure to Sacsayhuaman
The buses roll out sharp at 10:45am for the ride to Sacsayhuaman (12,139 ft / 3,700 m).
Don’t forget to grab a bite from the lunch box provided since there’s zero food stalls at the event.
Pro tip: pack water and sunscreen too—it’s a long day under the Andean sun.
11:30 to 12:30 Arrival & Seating in Sacsayhuaman
By 11:30am the bus pulls up to the venue. You’ll pass through security checkpoints and snag an Inti Raymi 2025 program booklet to get the lowdown on the rituals.

The ceremony start with the actor portraying Pachacutec the Inca emperor who symbolizes Inti’s power. Over 90 minutes you’ll see traditional dances, symbolic fires, and processions representing the four regions of the empire.

Once the show wraps up around 3pm staff will direct everyone back to the buses. Keep your program booklet handy if you want to revisit details later. Traffic near the site can get hectic so sticking with the group is key.
