The culminating day has arrived! On June 24th, Cusco celebrates its day, and the entire world turns its gaze towards the Festival of the Sun, the Inti Raymi. This imposing reenactment of the most important Inca ceremony is revived in all its ancestral splendor. Thousands of actors, dressed in garments replicating those of the imperial era, bring to life the Inca, the Coya (Queen), the Willaq Umu (High Priest), and their entourage.
