What is Inti Raymi?

Inti Raymi, the Inca Festival of the Sun, takes place annually on June 24 in Cusco (11,152 ft / 3,400 m), Peru. Dating back to Inca times, this historic event honors the sun god and marks the winter solstice and harvest season. Today, it’s recreated as a massive theatrical performance across three key locations: the Qorikancha Temple, Cusco’s Main Square, and Sacsayhuamán Fortress (12,142 ft / 3,700 m). Inti Raymi 2026 Ticket Options
