Por la mañana, lo recogeremos de su alojamiento aproximadamente a las 4:00 am. Comenzaremos el viaje de dos horas y media hacia el pueblo de Marcaconga, ubicado a una altitud de aproximadamente 11,800 pies (3,597 metros). Desde allí continuaremos hacia el distrito de Pitumarca, donde haremos una parada para desayunar.
