El tour a la Montaña de colores Cusco ofrece una experiencia inolvidable que comienza con el recojo del hotel a las 4:00 a.m. Esta salida temprana permite tener un viaje panorámico en auto de aproximadamente dos horas hacia el sur, llegando al distrito de Cusipata – Paucarpata en la provincia. de Quispicanchi, donde nos espera un delicioso desayuno.

Luego de un breve descanso, nuestro siguiente destino está a solo 10 minutos en auto: la PRIMERA BASE DE CONTROL ubicada en la comunidad campesina de Tintinco y Paucarpata. Desde allí continuamos nuestro recorrido en nuestro transporte por aproximadamente 25 minutos hasta llegar a la SEGUNDA BASE DE CONTROL ubicada en la comunidad campesina de Chillihuani.

En este punto, comenzamos una caminata de 1 hora y 40 minutos para llegar a la magnífica montaña Vinicunca, famosa como la Montaña de los Siete Colores, que es una de las vistas más impresionantes de la región de Cusco.

Desde la cumbre, disfrutará de una increíble vista panorámica adornada con una gama de colores vibrantes, que van del verde al rojo, de ahí el nombre de la montaña, «Montaña de los Siete Colores». Es una experiencia impresionante ser testigo de la belleza natural de la montaña y la Cordillera de los Andes.

La altitud de la montaña es casi tan alta como la del campo base del Everest, situándose a unos impresionantes 5.389 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Como parte del recorrido, se le proporcionará un desayuno y un almuerzo tradicionales, lo que le permitirá tener sustento durante todo el día.

El recorrido concluye aproximadamente a las 16:00 horas. cuando lo regresemos a su hotel en la ciudad de Cusco, dejándole recuerdos duraderos de esta extraordinaria aventura.

Route 1-A: Machu Picchu Mountain Route: Allows climbing Machu Picchu Mountain. The total maximum stay for the climb and a short visit to the Inca City afterward is $\mathbf{4}$ hours for the mountain and $\mathbf{1}$ hour for the city. Two time slots are available: 6:00-6:30 a.m. and 8:00-8:30 a.m.
Route 1-B: Upper Terrace Route: A shorter route through the agricultural sector. Max stay: $\mathbf{2}$ hours $\mathbf{30}$ minutes.
Route 1-C: Intipunku Gate Route: Leads to the Sun Gate (Intipunku). The round trip takes about $\mathbf{2}$ hours, followed by a maximum $\mathbf{2}$ -hour stay in the city.

Route 2-A: Designed Route & Route 2-B: Lower Terrace Route: Both are comprehensive routes that cover platforms near the Guardian’s House, the Quarry, the Temple of the Sun viewpoint, the Main Temple, Temple of the Three Windows, and the Sacred Rock. Visitors can choose to see the Hall of Mirrors or the Temple of the Condor near the end.

Wow, what great service! I’ve been on many tours and few have had the clarity and communication skills that Tania and her team had. Planning Machu Picchu on your own is *technically* possible, but it takes a tremendous amount of work to plan with a lot of unknown variables. We booked the private Machu Picchu experience for two, including a private car transfer from Cusco to the train station, the Vistadome train, and a private guided tour of the site. It is certainly a premium-priced experience, but for such a once-in-a-lifetime destination, I would absolutely do it again.

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication with Tania was excellent throughout the booking process. She was always responsive and helpful, and even came to our hotel the day before to hand over all our tickets, explain the itinerary in detail, and answer all our questions. That personal touch was greatly appreciated.

When we arrived at the train station, our guide, Willy, warmly welcomed us and stayed with us throughout the entire visit. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and significance of Machu Picchu. His English was excellent, making every explanation easy to understand. He also knew all the best photo spots and helped us capture some unforgettable memories. To top it off, he recommended a very good restaurant (not included in the price) for after our visit, which was the perfect end to the visit while waiting for the return transfer.

Be prepared for a long day from Cusco—our day started at 5:00 a.m. and we returned around 8:30 p.m. Most of the time is spent on transportation, transfers, and waiting (each way is around 4 hours: car+train+bus), while the visit to Machu Picchu itself lasts around 2.5 hours (we had booked Circuit 1, which offers the best views although you are not able to enter the village itself (this would be circuit 2). However, every minute is absolutely worth it.

A big thank you to Tania and especially to Willy for making this unforgettable experience so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
