PISAQ .- is located 35 km from Cusco. Here we find the Pisac market, famous for its handicrafts, ceramics, textiles, silver, food, painting and Andean music. In Pisac you can see the confluence of the traditional products produced in the area with the merchandise. Another attraction is the ruins of Pisac, considered one of the most beautiful places in the city of Cusco. OLLANTAYTAMBO .- One of the last living Inca towns located at the opposite end of Pisac, its streets maintain the same line as the Inca, the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, religious and agricultural center here we will find the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and princess baths.
URUBAMBA .- This is the place where we had lunch.
MORAY .- It is located 7 km from Maras, two hours from Cusco along the Chinchero route, which is one of the most spectacular where there are circular terraces of different sizes. . These are experimental agricultural terraces and places of concentration of feminine energy, which is considered as a magnetic center of the Pachamama.
MARAS SALT MINES. - Located northwest of the city. de Maras, known by some as "salt mines", are made up of about 3,000 small wells. Salt is obtained from pre-Hispanic times through a system of salt water in the sun from an underground stream. Once the water has evaporated, the salt is ready for sale.
ARTISAN MARKET CHINCHERO .- This city is 28 km. From Cusco, on the asphalt road to Urubamba, where the remains of what was the "Royal Treasury of Tupac Inca Yupanqui", is like a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, its greatest asset. However, it is their Sunday market, originally dedicated to the exchange of agricultural products between the villagers of the valley and the upper end.
