The Tour of Huchuy qosqo, third most important archaeological center in the Sacred Valley, is an alternative route for those who want to do an experiential tourism to get to this place we will have the opportunity to live and share the customs of the people of Patabamba.

Departure 7:30 am from Cusco in private transportation to the town of Ccorao
On the road that leads from Cusco to Pisaq (3600 masl) from this place we will start our trek through fields, crops and villages until we reach the Abra de patabamba (4100 masl) then we will descend Asia the Andean community of patabamba (3800 masl).
Walking time 3h 30m and moderate difficulty.
In the community of patabamba families wait for us to welcome us with traditional instruments. Music, typical clothes, and flowers. They will also provide us with a delicious lunch.
After lunch families will take them to collect the flowers and plants they use to make their wool dyes that will later teach them the whole process of how they make their tissues.
This community is known for the quality of its textiles, dyed with natural dyes, its iconographies speak of its history and its daily life in the community.

After our breakfast
We start our walk through the balcony of the Sacred Valley, where the view is impressive, a beautiful landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can see the villages of Calca, Lamay, Coya, Pisac as well as the snow peaks of La Verónica , Pitusiray and Sawasiray continuing the trek we go through the community of Sihuas towards the site of pukamarka (4070 masl) (Here we will have lunch).
After lunch we will start the descent towards the archaeological park of Huchuy qosqo (3656 masl) the road crosses a spectacular canyon known as the punku lion that has vestiges and three bridges and an original Inca road, likewise there are a lot of brómelas and vegetation typical of the area
When crossing the canyon you can see incredible landscapes that will take your breath away, the road continues descending until you reach the archaeological park of Huchuy Qosqo
Where we will have time to explore and contemplate the beautiful views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and abundant andenería then our trip continues with the last descent to the town of Lamay, where mobility awaits us for the return to the city of Cusco.
